Finality?
In this piece, I sculpted walnut wood into the form of a headstone, contrasting its malleability with the traditional permanence of stone. The polished base symbolizes new ideas and possibilities, while intentionally leaving it imperfect reflects the ongoing process of personal growth. Our choices and life events shape us continuously; I believe we are not defined by finality but by our capacity for change. Each day offers the opportunity to shape our future selves until our journey concludes, highlighting the transient nature of life.
